Vintage Do Over

This past weekend I was killing time on Instagram when I noticed that Crave was in Chicago! I immediately took the L to Wicker Park to the Vintage Do Over craft fair. It was so worth it!

I've been a huge fan of Crave Jewelry Design ever since I won this lightning bolt necklace in a giveaway. Every single necklace and earring is beautiful and unique-- some are made of old circuit boards, while others contain real bullet casings! I ended up buying myself some little stud earrings (one of the red ones in the photo below).

But the best part was meeting Jaci, the creative genius behind Crave. She is super super sweet and also very humble for someone so talented! Her shop is such an inspiration to me. I even fangirled a little bit and got my picture taken with her :) Check out her etsy for sure!!

There were a bunch of other cool stands-- I wish I could have bought something from everyone! The venue was also really cool. Double Door is a bar and there was live music!

I love love love craft/handmade markets and am constantly on the lookout for them! Anyone here in Chicago have tips for me?

  1. That looks like a neat event! I don't see craft fairs much in my town, but I'd love to go to one someday!

  2. This looks like such a cool event. I think it is even cooler that you found out about it via Instagram.

  3. Thanks for your kind words on my last post!
